UZKhR OJSC presented its products at the international exhibition "CHEMISTRY-2013".
The event took place in Moscow from October 28 to 31, with official support from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Committee of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation on Agrarian and Food Policy and Environmental Management, the Committee of the State Duma on Industry, the Government of Moscow, the International Union of Theoretical and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC), and the Russian Union of Chemists.
Over three days, the stand of OJSC "UZKhR" was visited by more than two hundred people; they were introduced to the current product range (including various compounds of nickel, copper, zinc, silver, cadmium, metals, alloys, electrolytes, etc.). As noted by Galina Zaikina, Deputy General Director for Quality at OJSC "UZKhR," visitors included not only existing customers, counterparties, and partners of the plant, but also potential clients. As a result, a list of 40 organizations that expressed interest in further cooperation was compiled. Among them are many end consumers of the enterprise's products, including foreign ones.
"We are not participating in the 'CHEMISTRY' exhibition for the first time. Such events provide a good opportunity for mutually beneficial information exchange among industry participants. We managed not only to once again make ourselves known and attract potential clients, but also to familiarize ourselves with new products that the plant needs for its own production needs. The next 'CHEMISTRY' will take place only in 2015, and for 2014 we have planned participation in regional, Ural exhibitions. They will be held in Perm, Tyumen, Ufa, Kazan," noted Galina Zaikina.
According to Vasily Savin, Commercial Director of OJSC "UZKhR," the list of potential clients obtained is currently being processed – closer contacts are being established with them, and preliminary negotiations are being conducted to clearly identify needs and prepare proposals.
"Many enterprises consider participation in exhibitions as a positive result in itself. Yes, it is a good way to advertise their products, but the only criterion for the effectiveness of advertising a product or service is real sales. Therefore, we will evaluate the result of participation in the exhibition based on the number of contracts concluded," he emphasized.
