Standard titles and Certified reference materials of approved type

Standard-titers are precise weighings of reagents or exact volumes of concentrated reagent solutions, packaged in ampoules.

Field of application:

Standard-titers are used in laboratory practice for quantitative chemical analysis. They are intended for the preparation of aqueous solutions with a specified volume and molar concentration of equivalent (MCE) of the substance:

C(x ) = (0.100 ± 0.001) mol/dm3

For standard-titers of sodium hydroxide and potassium hydroxide, the MCE of the prepared solutions:

C (NaOH, KOH) = (0.100 ± 0.002) mol/dm3

For the standard-titer of potassium ferricyanide, the MCE of the prepared solution:

C(K3[Fe(CN)6]) = 0.0500 ± 0.0005 mol/dm3

Standard-titers for the preparation of buffer solutions – working standards of pH 3rd category ST-pH-03.3 (TU-2642-595-00205087-2006)

Standard-titers are precise weighings of chemical substances, packaged in sealed glass ampoules or plastic vials with screw caps.

Registration number in the Federal Information Fund for Ensuring the Uniformity of Measurements No. 31181-06.

LLC "UZKhP" is accredited in the field of ensuring the uniformity of measurements for performing work and (or) providing services for the verification of measuring instruments.
Accreditation certificate No. RA.RU.311987 issued on March 3, 2017.


Scope of application:

When dissolving these precise samples in 1 dm3 of distilled water, buffer solutions are obtained — working pH standards of the 3rd category with corresponding pH values according to GOST 8.134-2014, GOST 8.135-2004.
The working pH standards prepared from standard-titres are used for verification, graduation, and calibration of pH measuring instruments in accordance with GOST 8.120-2014, for monitoring the metrological characteristics of measuring instruments and errors of pH measurement methods for liquid media.

The characteristics of standard-titres comply with GOST 8.135-2004. Buffer solutions prepared from standard-titres ST-pH-03.3 reproduce the nominal pH values specified in the table.

The limits of permissible absolute error ΔpH of buffer solutions — working pH standards of the 3rd category, prepared from standard-titres ST-pH-03.3, are ±0.03 pH.
The shelf life of standard-titres is 1.5 years.

Standard-titres for preparing buffer solutions — working pH standards of the 3rd category undergo initial verification upon release from production. Standard-titres are not subject to periodic verification.


Package contents, packaging

Depending on the chemical composition, six modifications of standard-titres ST-pH-03.3 are manufactured. Package contents:
— 6 ampoules of one modification in a cardboard box;
— a set that includes 1 ampoule of each modification, total 6 pcs. in a cardboard box.

Upon customer request, other options for assembling sets from standard-titres of the specified modifications are possible.

Certified reference materials (CRM) of approved type

As a manufacturer of certified reference materials, LLC "UZKhP" is accredited in accordance with the requirements of International Standard ISO 17034:2016.

Accreditation body - AAC "Analitika", accreditation certificate No. AAS.RM.00502 dated July 13, 2020.

LLC "UZKhP" produces certified reference materials (CRM) of approved type: composition of ion solution, composition of phenol solution in ethanol, total water hardness, simulator of mass concentration of residual active chlorine in water and aqueous media

Certified reference materials are solutions of initial reagents in bidistilled water with specific electrical conductivity not exceeding 2.0·10-6 S/cm at a temperature of 25 ˚C or in a corresponding background solution, placed in sealed, chemically resistant to the material of the standard sample, marked glass or polymer ampoules


Scope of application:
  • certification of measurement methods;

  • accuracy control of measurement methods;

  • verification, calibration, graduation of measuring instruments (MI),

  • monitoring of metrological characteristics of MI during their testing, including for the purpose of type approval.


Certified characteristic of CRM:

- mass concentration of ion (substance), mg/cm3;

- total molar concentration of equivalent of calcium and magnesium ions (for CRM of total water hardness).

The limits of permissible value of relative error of the certified value of CRM are ± 1.0 % at a confidence level of P = 0.95.

The permissible values of relative expanded uncertainty of the certified value of the standard sample at a coverage factor of k=2 are 1.0 %.

The shelf life of a CRM specimen is 3 years.
